Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Flowna when you use the app.

Welcome to Flowna. These terms ("Terms") apply when you use our website, mobile web app, and any related service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Flowna is — and isn't
Flowna is a cash-flow planning tool for people with irregular income. It computes a daily Safe-Spend number, a Stability Score, and a virtual buffer based on the income and expenses you log.
Flowna is not:
- A bank, microfinance bank, payment institution, or wallet
- A loan provider, BNPL service, or savings-and-loan
- A licensed financial adviser, broker, or investment manager
- An accountant or tax professional
The information you see in the app is general planning guidance. It is not personalised financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. For a binding decision that affects your life, talk to a licensed professional.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is true and that you're using Flowna for personal cash-flow planning, not to evade tax or commit financial crime.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Tell us immediately at security@flowna.co if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by you sharing credentials.
4. The Free plan and the Premium plan
You can use Flowna's core features for free, forever. Premium unlocks deeper analytics, longer history, advanced goals and priority support, billed monthly (₦2,500) or annually (₦25,000) via Paystack. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel any time from your profile — access continues until the end of your paid period.
5. Refunds
If you cancel within 7 days of your first Premium charge, email billing@flowna.co for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or hammer the API beyond reasonable rate limits
- Upload data you don't have a right to share
- Use Flowna to plan, hide, or facilitate illegal activity
- Resell, rebrand, or commercialise the Service without our written consent
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. Where appropriate we will warn first; for clear fraud we may freeze instantly.
7. The Flowna Guide (AI assistant)
The Guide is an AI-powered chat that answers in plain English. It is grounded in your numbers but it is still software — it can be wrong, especially on edge cases. Don't take its answer as the final word on a major decision. We log Guide conversations to improve quality and keep you safe; you can flag any answer as unhelpful from inside the chat.
8. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we don't guarantee 24/7 availability. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (Paystack, Resend, your network) and force majeure can interrupt the Service.
9. Data and privacy
Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms you also accept the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowna's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₦15,000 — whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill or data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Nigerian law (e.g. fraud or wilful misconduct).
11. Termination
You can delete your account any time from Profile → Delete account. We can terminate access if you breach these Terms or if continuing creates legal / security risk. On termination, your data is wiped per the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes that can't be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be heard exclusively by the courts of Lagos State.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are emailed to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
